Show Your 4-H Colours | Aroborez vos couleurs 4-H
Why November? November marks National 4-H Month across Canada when we celebrate all that 4-H has to offer. With more than 28,000 Members and 8,500 Volunteer Leaders, 4-H in Canada continues to be an important organization for Canadian youth.

The selection of November as the National 4-H Month has historical origins. In each November since 1931, with the exception of 1939, around 150 young 4-H Members have traveled to Toronto as guests of the Canadian 4-H Council for National 4-H Week. This year, delegates will be flying to Toronto on November 4 and Showing Their 4-H Colours at the National 4-H Conference and National Volunteer Leaders’ Conference!
Why Green? Green is one of the official colours of 4-H in Canada. The two official colours, Green and White, both have different meanings, and have been the official colours since the Canadian 4-H Council adopted the four-leaf clover logo in 1952. Green signifies agriculture and youth, while white signifies purity.

On November 4, the Canadian 4-H Council, with support from Bayer CropScience, ask 4-H Members, Leaders, Alumni and Supporters to wear green and white to Show Their 4-H Colours.

On November 4, everybody involved with 4-H can Show their 4-H Pride and Spirit across Canada and around the world. Go Green, Go 4-H! You can find out more about 4-H in Canada at www.4-h-canada.ca.
